The ultimate Fuel tank system for Hummers and HMMWV’s. This is much more than just a fuel tank… It is a complete system which significantly improves the survivability of the fuel tank when off-roading and provides increased stiffness to the chassis as it protects the tank with the heavy duty steel skid plate and crossmember. Custom Fabricated from 3/16” TIG welded aluminum, this tank system mounts directly to the chassis instead of hanging from the body. The Skid plate mounting system is designed to work with our transmission crossmember to ensure that the tank cannot fall out of the vehicle even if all of the fasteners fail! No more poorly mounted OEM plastic tank rubbing the drive shaft, cracking, or springing a leak. Not only does this make for a much cleaner and more robust installation of the fuel system when installing your Duramax powertrain, but it also has all of the appropriate fitting sizes for the Duramax including:
- Lift pump supply
- Lift pump return
- Engine Return
- Aux tank input
- Vent
- Crossover fill vent
