The XHP Billet Crossmember Braces are designed to provide massive strength improvements to the Hummer chassis’s weakest component…the chassis crossmembers. This is where not only all of the suspension loads are transmitted into the chassis , but they also support the differential and hold together the frame rails.
The Billet crossmember braces tie the lower control arms together and integrate our super stiff steel skid plates which protect the differential and also tie together the crossmember braces. We incorporated a feature in the skid plate that gives you a good point for engaging a floor jack to lift the front or rear of your Hummer or HMMWV without damaging the OEM crossmembers.
The crossmember braces are machined from a solid block of 6061 T6 aluminum, then hard anodized to military spec, followed by a final machining process to highlight the features of these custom components. The Skid plates are made from laser cut and CNC press bent 3/16″ cold rolled steel plate with custom CNC machined stainless alignment washers.
We include new 6″ Grade 8 Lower control arm bolts, skid plate hardware and custom washers, Qty 4 Custom billet crossmember braces and Qty 2 Powder Coated fabricated steel skid plates.
These work with OEM AMC 20 differentials or our custom 9″ differentials and are a great compliment to our coilover suspension system! When used without custom lower control arms included in our coilover suspension system we guarantee you can’t hurt the chassis or suspension components no matter how hard you off-road!!!
